About Andrzej

Andrzej Wiśniewski is Stoneline Heritage’s Senior Advisor and an active stonemason. Originally from Poland, he has spent 43 years in the trade: 20 years working in Europe and 23 in Australia. He continues to work in the field, bringing that experience to both the masonry and the decisions around it.

He works alongside Shane O'Hara on site, advising on materials, workmanship and repair sequencing while taking an active part in the work. He remains on the tools, particularly on larger projects and delicate masonry that calls for patience and judgement. Direct and quietly proud of his craft, Andrzej gives the details the time they need and would generally rather get on with the job than talk about his experience.

Andrzej also shares his field knowledge with Karri Fenwick for the website’s restoration notes. He explains the practical detail and context; she applies her writing expertise to make it useful to property owners across Sydney and NSW.
